  • Commandant - acclaimed author Frederic Morton will discuss his new play with Harper's former editor Lewis Lapham after a staged reading on September 10.
  • Religion and the 2008 Presidential Campaign - The Washington Post's Sally Quinn will moderate a panel made up of Interfaith Alliance President Rev. Dr. C. Welton Gaddy, Religious Action Center of Reform Judaism Director Rabbi David Saperstein, and Senior Scholar of the First Amendment Center, Charles Haynes; and author Susan Jacoby on September 17.
  • Irène Némirovsky: A Daughter's Discovery - Denise Epstein will discuss her mother's life and work with professor and translator Sandra Smith on September 24.
  • Jews in Vichy France - Professors Michael Marrus and Robert O. Paxton will provide historical context for the time period in which Nemirovsky and other Jews of France lived during World War II on October 26.
  • Soulfarm and Moshav Band - The two popular contemporary Jewish bands will play on October 29.
