About Us
The Museum of Jewish Heritage - A Living Memorial to the Holocaust
honors those who died by celebrating their lives - cherishing the civilization
that they built, their achievements and faith, their joys and hopes, and
the vibrant Jewish community that is their legacy today.
In the Museum's core exhibition, personal objects, photographs, and original
films illustrate the story of Jewish heritage in the twentieth century.
The Museum's unique collection forms the solid foundation of this important
archive, a significant educational resource for students, teachers, and
scholars. In addition, the collection provides source materials for permanent
and temporary exhibitions, and for traveling exhibitions.
The Morgenthau wing is the venue for performances, education and instruction,
special exhibitions, remembrance, and special events. Special exhibitions
afford the Museum the opportunity to complement the themes expressed in
the core exhibition in greater detail.
Space Rental
Our unique spaces are perfect for galas, receptions, conferences, lifecycle
events and more. Spaces include a 5,000 SF event space, 375-seat-theater,
an outdoor terrace with adjacent indoor space, and classrooms with multi-media
facilities.
Press Room
Reporters interested in learning about the latest Museum news and events
should visit the Press Room, which features media releases and a photo
gallery.
Volunteer Opportunities
The Museum employs volunteers and interns in a broad range of capacities
from working with the curatorial, development, education, public programs,
marketing, visitor services, and administrative departments of the Museum
to leading tours through our galleries and taking the Museum's message
to schools and other groups.
Employment
It is an exciting time to join our staff. Please review
our list of employment opportunities.
